Youth Volunteers

Youth Volunteers are aged between 13 – 18 years old and form a key part of the Ismaili Volunteers.Â
Duties completed by a Youth Volunteer are recorded on IIUK by their Team Leader. Our programme focuses on skill development and external recognition of the service our Youth Volunteers render. Do not forget that IV service counts towards prestigious awards such as the Duke of Edinburgh, Gaisce – The President’s Award and more! . For more details on using IV service to complete these awards, please email us at ivc@iiuk.org
Watch this space. Exciting updates coming soon!
Key features of our current Youth Programme include:
 – A service record for each Volunteer on IIUK
- Enabling each of our youth to achieve professional recognition and accreditation from external organisations for their duty (for example Duke of Edinburgh)!
- Ensuring continuity so that each Youth Volunteer can continue their IV journey in any Jamatkhana across our Jurisdiction.
 – A wide range of duties
- Duties are not limited only to inside Jamatkhana, as we believe Seva should be performed in any form and anywhere!
- Duties focus on skills development, with an eye on bolstering CVs and preparing our youth for their future. For example, Youth Volunteers can help at their local BAI, complete a First Aid course and more.
